- Hop from left to right over an imaginary lateral line while facing forward.

- Once you are more comfortable with the hops you can proceed to single leg lateral hops. This is basically lateral hops while balancing on one foot.
- Ensure you have comfortable and stable shoes while performing this exercise to avoid ankle sprains and injury.
- One can add light dumbbells to give more effect to the exercise.
- Land on the balls of your feet as you jump to reduce the impact on your knees and ankles.
