Bow Extensions (with Dumbbells) Guide

  • Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart. Hold a dumbbell over your head and keep your elbows slightly bent.
  • Keep the dumbbell on the right side while holding it over your head.
  • Lower the dumbbell towards the left leg as you raise the left knee as high as possible.
  • Once the dumbbell taps your knee, raise it over your head and return the foot to starting position.
  • Complete reps for one leg before alternating and do as many reps as you can.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Ensure that your back is upright and ab muscles tight and in for better muscle engagement.
  • Give your ab muscles a tight squeeze every time you raise your knee.
  • Avoid moving too fast as that will make the exercise less effective.
  • Feel free to use a water bottle to perform this exercise if you don’t have a dumbbell.
