In this article, you will discover the best breakfast smoothies for weight loss #breakfast #smoothies #weightloss #flabfix

Frankly, these smoothies are so simple anyone can make them. All you need to do is toss the ingredients in a blender and blend them until they’re smooth. But realize that there are smoothie mistakes that can sabotage weight loss. Here are a few mistakes you should avoid:

Adding sweeteners:  Adding honey or sugar to your smoothie can trigger weight gain. As you may know, sugar is high in calories and triggers cravings. Instead of adding sweeteners to your smoothie, use sweet fruits like strawberries. You should also avoid flavored ingredients.

Lack of fiber: Smoothies that lack fiber won’t help you control hunger. Luckily, you can add Xanthan to your smoothies to add fiber and make them thicker. Plus, most of the ingredients below have a good amount of fiber

Using too much protein powder: Protein aids weight loss and muscle growth, but a high intake of protein powder can be harmful. Don’t use more protein powder than the recipe recommends.

Adding too much fruit: Fruit smoothies are sweet and nutritious but high in calories. You may end up gaining weight if you overdo them. Adding veggies and protein can make fruit smoothie healthier.

Now that you know the mistakes to avoid, make sure you invest in a powerful blender to make these delicious breakfast smoothies.

Below are 24 3-ingredient breakfast smoothies for weight loss.

Note: If you don’t have frozen fruits or veggies use ice.

Correction: For the pineapple green smoothie, use 3/4 cup of coconut water, not coconut oil. Thank you, Saara for the correction.

3/4 cup coconut oil in the first one, seriously? Sounds anything but tasty 😛 must be an accident…

My thought too. I think it should be coconut milk. Who would intentionally consume 3/4 cup of coconut oil?

      Hi Debbi,
It depends on the recipe but in most cases one glass will do. Don’t forget to share your experience once you make your first smoothie.

Are these all single serves?? There seems a lot in some and little in others.

The servings vary from recipe to recipe. If you make more than one serving, store the remainder in the fridge. Smoothies can maintain maximum freshness in the fridge for up to 24 hours.

In general, what should a serving size be? 8 oz? 10 oz?
