Step Up Lunge Guide
- Ensure you are at a place with a raised platform such as a bench or stair.
- Standing straight with your feet slightly apart, step up with your right leg onto the raised platform.
- Once you step up with the right leg, raise your left leg to your chest.
- Step back down with the left leg first and reset your legs to regain balance.
- Once it’s reset, do a lunge with your right leg behind forming a 90 degree.
- Do 2 sets of 10 reps while alternating the legs.
Trainer’s Tips
- Do not rush to avoid falling off the platform or staining any part of the body such as the ankle.
- Ensure to land softly on the ground and wear sport shoes that will give support to your ankles. Avoid other shoes.
- Look for an average size heightened place to enable ease. Do not go for a too high place to avoid strains.
